Toronto – Nymity, the leading global research company specializing in privacy accountability, risk, and compliance software solutions for the privacy office, is delighted to welcome Jorge Molet as Privacy Research Lawyer, Latin America, a newly created role that enriches Nymity’s research team with extensive Latin American experience. This powerful integration creates a unique knowledge transfer for privacy and data protection officers across Latin America by tapping Jorge’s expertise in Latin American data protection law, underscoring Nymity’s commitment to developing innovative approaches to privacy compliance worldwide within rapidly evolving and complex regulatory environments.
Jorge joins Nymity from the Mexican law firm Molet + Burgete Abogados where he was a trusted advisor for clients on Latin American data protection law. An accomplished speaker, author, and thought leader, Jorge is an expert in Latin American data protection law and the challenges faced by privacy officers in Latin America, having spoken as a subject domain expert long before the enactment of the Federal Data Protection Act in Mexico. In addition to his legal expertise, Jorge is a former Chief Privacy Officer and is an experienced instructor and consultant for privacy officers in the region.

United by a shared mission to help support privacy officers in Latin America, Jorge will lead the development of Latin American offerings as an integral member of Nymity’s research team of privacy and data protection experts. Working closely with data protection experts and organizations in Latin America, Jorge will develop the solutions that privacy officers need to efficiently and effectively manage privacy in Latin America. The Latin American offer-ings will be available in Spanish late this year.
