Senior .Net Developer
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

 

Position Summary

Nymity is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our product development team in our Toronto office. Reporting directly to the CTO, the successful candidate has a passion for programming and thrives in an environment of solving interesting development problems.

This is a great opportunity to work with a team of .NET experts to gain deep knowledge on how to build reliable and scalable Web solutions. The successful candidate is an open minded developer that is motivated and self-sufficient, can quickly learn new techniques, and brings solid experience to the table. Nymity’s design philosophy is that progressive design combined with best practices and a focus on user experience is key to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of the business requirements as they relate to system development
  • Solid and creative contributions towards analysis and design

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, preferably within a variety of business environments

  • Hands on experience with all of the following Microsoft technologies: Expert in .NET using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI using Visual Studio 2010-2015
  • Strong in UI programming with HTML5, jQuery, Angular 2(4), Ajax, and Telerik Kendo UI
  • Strong OOD/OOP skills and thorough understanding of OO practices
  • Excellent grasp of IoC and n-Tier architecture

Customer Marketing Manager

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Position Summary

At Nymity, our mission is to support the privacy office. With the rapid adoption of technology, privacy is both increasingly important and complex to manage. Nymity works with large enterprises to help them manage the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) and the World’s privacy requirements.

We are looking for a customer marketing Rockstar to lead the strategy and execution of the marketing to our customer base. This is a new position in the marketing department reporting to the VP, Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and liaise among the Brand & Communications, Product Marketing, and Customer Success and Support functions to increase customer advocacy (including speaking/media opportunities, referrals, testimonials, webinars, references, etc.), identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and increasing loyalty and retention
  • Deeply connect with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • Create, execute, and manage customer marketing campaigns that drive value for customers, and align with Nymity’s value propositions, messaging, and goals
  • Own your metrics; track, analyze and optimize customer engagement and advocacy efforts
  • Help Marketing and Customer Success & Support teams meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
  • Customer communications – Manage and maintain engagement and advocacy programs; continually recruit new customer advocates, keep the communication cycle alive and well.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working in a Customer Communications, Customer Marketing or Customer Success role in technology (B2B SaaS preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Must have strong verbal communication skills and be a solid writer
  • Must be a team player

DevOps Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Position Summary

Nymity is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to provide support for our SaaS applications platform and lead our transition into the cloud.

An ideal candidate is a developer that is interested in branching out into operations or an ops engineer who is interested in involving or leading projects towards their next evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a push for continuous integration and deployment systems.
  • Enhance monitoring and metrics reporting.
  • Work closely with developers to improve quality and efficiency of the software
  • Maintain end-to-end security using industry best practices.
  • Continuously improve the tooling, applications, environments, etc…
  • Setup Dev, Staging, Demo and Prod container environments
  • Lead our software transition into Azure
  • Participate in on-call/production release rotation
  • Investigate and adopt new technologies as needs arise.

Requirements

  • OctopusDeploy experience is a must to have
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of databases (SQL server)
  • Solid Powershell scripting skill
  • Strong hands on experience on Windows servers and infrastructure

BI/Reporting Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Position Summary

Nymity is currently looking for a BI/Reporting Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the CTO this role will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and deployment of BI applications.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively in technical and non-technical environments. Additionally, they will display excellent collaboration and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning Business Analysis Activities
  • Working with Product Development and Business team’s members, to understand and analyze business needs and design and develop data solutions by exploring data sources, analytics approaches to be used, e.g. mining, forecasting, visualization, etc. and executing to address the business needs;
  • Exploring new sources of information to uncover new business opportunities at all levels of the business (strategic to operational);
  • Exercising leading edge analytics skills in data visualization, mining, forecasting, etc. to address business needs;
  • Working with and presenting to all management levels;
  • Maintaining and expanding your knowledge of BI and current technology through training opportunities; and,
  • Working in an agile environment and contributing to the improvement of our development processes.
  • Conducting decision, business rules, risk, and interface analysis
  • Solve any ongoing data issues that arise throughout the data processing lifecycle

Requirements

  • Must be able to draw insights from structured and unstructured information
  • Competent in information systems design and information visualization techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of business intelligence tools, such as Jaspersoft and/or Tableau or similar
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL is required
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
  • Experience with Crystal Reports (or SSRS) is a plus
  • Advanced level skills with multiple BI tools such as SSRS, ETL etc;
  • Advanced skills with SQL and database systems
  • Highly analytical skills and ability to work with large and complex technical data sets;
  • Ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations;
  • Knowledge of, and preferably experience with software development, and/or developing visualization tools;
  • Ability to work with a team towards common goals;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; and,
  • Self-starter skills, who is comfortable working with and presenting to all management levels.
  • Good understanding of data modeling concepts and data relationships
  • Professional or educational experience in product development is an asset
