Account Executive, New Business

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Position Summary

Nymity is looking for an Account Executive for new business sales to join our rapidly growing team in our Toronto office. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, as an Account Executive for new business you will be responsible for working with new enterprise and mid-market customers and prospects to drive revenue and company growth.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior sales role who enjoy selling, are self-starters and are achievement-oriented. The ideal candidate is success-driven, fast-paced, works well in a diverse team and enjoys a high growth, dynamic and changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Follow up with leads provided by the internal business development team
  • Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging subject matter experts in a collaborative sales cycle
  • Conduct high-level conversations with C and VP level executives
  • Preparation and delivery of quotes and proposals
  • Respond to RFP’s and negotiate final agreements as required

What we’re looking for

  • Knowledge of SaaS business model and software sales cycle

Position Summary

Nymity is looking for a Business Development Representative as the liaison between our marketing and our rapidly growing sales team. Based in our Toronto office, your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns to generate new prospects for the sales team. Privacy Research Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

Position Summary

As Privacy Research Specialist, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to Nymity’s research knowledgebase. This role reports directly to the VP Research and requires a strong interest in privacy compliance, a keen customer-focused and analytical mind, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to work well in a team within a fast-paced environment.

As part of the Nymity Research team, the successful candidate will apply the Nymity research techniques to analyze relevant data privacy information, including, document analysis, surveys, case studies, and interviews. The Privacy Research Specialist will contribute to and develop a variety of new data privacy research content, using appropriate and creative methods. This role will also involve collaborating with internal stakeholders in the development of new Nymity Research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze global privacy and data protection developments
  • Analyze global privacy and data protection laws
  • Create documents for Nymity’s proprietary research knowledgebase
  • Add global privacy and data protection content to the Nymity Tools database
  • Present and disseminate data privacy research results orally and in clearly written form
  • Review data privacy laws and regulations for inclusion in the Nymity Tools database

Angular2 Developer

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

 

Nymity is seeking an AngularJS Developer to join our product development team in our Toronto office. Reporting directly to the CTO, the successful candidate has a passion for programming and thrives in an environment of solving interesting development problems.

The successful candidate is an open minded developer that is comfortable working in an agile (SCRUM) environment, motivated and self-sufficient, and brings solid experience to the table. Nymity’s design philosophy is that progressive design combined with best practices and a focus on user experience is key to success.

Position Summary

The Angular2 Developer is responsible for the client side of our Angular(2/4) project. The primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface on the Angular platform. The main duties will include creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional app. The artistic design will be proviced after successful functional prototyping, and will require input in regards to CSS, and final HTML output. The Angular2 Developer will work in a team with the back-end developer, and communicate with the API using standard methods. A thorough understanding of all of the components of our platform and infrastructure is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering a complete front end application, ensuring high performance
  • Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented TypeScript, HTML and CSS
  • Working with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API (WebAPI)

Required Experience

  • Proficiency with TypeScript and HTML5
  • Some experience with Google Material or similar responsive framework
  • Professional, precise communication skills
  • Deep Knowledge of Angular 2 and/or Typescript ECEMA6 dependency chain
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
  • Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed
  • Can describe the difference between MVC and MVVM
