Terry McQuay is the founder and President of
Nymity Inc. Mr. McQuay is the Canadian Co-Chair
of the International Association of Privacy Professionals'
KnowledgeNet and a Certified Information Privacy
Professional (CIPP & CIPP/C). He is
on the Canadian Marketing Association's Ethics
and Privacy Committee, a Privacy Advisor to the
Canadian Standards Association(CSA), a Privacy
Trainer for the Canadian Institute of Chartered
Accountants(CICA), and a Privacy Advisor for the
Retail Council of Canada.
Mr.
McQuay is one of Canada's leading authorities
on privacy risk management and oversees the development
of Nymity's premier Web-based privacy support
called PrivaWorks.
Also, for the last four years he has developed
and delivered privacy
training to hundreds of organizations
making him the leading privacy educator in Canada.
Mr. McQuay is one of Canada's most
prolific and versatile privacy speakers and has
appeared at a wide variety of conferences including
events held by: Ontario Bar Association, International
Association of Privacy Professionals, Canadian
Marketing Association, The Canadian Institute,
Direct Marketing News, Association for the Advancement
of Relationship Marketing, and the Society of
Consumer Affairs Professionals in Business.

In his role as Vice President, Product
Development, Mr. Jager is responsible for the
development of Nymity's premier privacy risk management
support program called PrivaWorks.
Mr. Jager is an experienced privacy professional
who most recently served as Chief Privacy Officer
at Sears Canada Inc. In his 32 years with Sears,
Mr. Jager served in many capacities including
General Manager of Store Support where he was
responsible for the operating policies and procedures
for the full-line stores and as a Regional General
Sales Manager for the stores in south-west and
northern Ontario. Mr. Jager is a Certified
Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/C).
| In his last two years at Sears,
Mr. Jager was the National Manager of Corporate
Compliance and accountable for compliance
matters relating to privacy, advertising and
marketing practices, environmental issues
and served as the company’s Chief Privacy
Officer. As a multi-channel national retailer
Sears business channels included Sears Canada
Bank and a transportation company which fell
under the regulated business as defined by
the Personal Information and Electronic Document
Act (PIPEDA) effective January 2001. |

As Vice-chairman of the Canadian Marketing Association’s
Privacy and Ethics committee he has contributed
to the ongoing development of the privacy policies
and practices of the C.M.A. Mr. Jager has supported
the development of the C.M.A.’s Code of
Ethics and Standards of Conduct and submitted
a paper relating to opt-out consent.
Mr. Jager has a thorough and practical knowledge
of the challenges facing Privacy Officers in the
mitigation of risks associated with the collection,
use, retention and disclosure of personal information.

Camille McQuay is Vice President, Research at
Nymity Inc. In this role, she provides the lead
in conducting the research and analysis required
for Nymity's premier privacy risk management support
program called PrivaWorks
and the monthly PrivaWorks Risk Advisory. Mrs.
McQuay brings to this role over 17 years of legal
knowledge and expertise having been called to
the Jamaican Bar and the Ontario Bar.
Prior to joining Nymity Inc. she was General Counsel
at Red Stripe (formerly Desnoes & Geddes Ltd),
with responsibility for all legal, corporate and
commercial matters. Subsequent to Red Stripe,
Mrs. McQuay joined the Kraft Canada Inc. legal
team focusing on marketing and advertising and
privacy law issues.
Mrs. McQuay is an expert in private-sector privacy
laws, privacy risk mitigation and the pragmatic
application of privacy in a business context.
