Nymity is a member of United States Council for International Business (USCIB) allowing Nymity to participate in the major privacy and data protection initiatives worldwide. In addition to OECD, this includes supporting various international initiatives carried out through the world, including those in the Council of Europe, the United Nations, NATO, the EU Commission, the Organization of American States and other country or region specific policy, principle, regulatory, treaty and agreement activities that are critical to privacy, security, internet, innovation, cybercrime, copyright issues, protection of children and the global flow of information.

Through the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC), Nymity participates in the various privacy, security and related e-Commerce initiatives that are occurring around the world. While the primary initiatives are those that occur at the OECD through the Working Party on Information Security and Privacy (WPISP), they include other OECD committees such as the Committee for Information, Computer and Communications Policy (ICCP). |

Nymity has produced a detailed review of the most recent Data Privacy Sub-group meeting in Japan plus a backgrounder on the APEC Data Privacy Sub-Group and the APEC Privacy Framework. Nymity participated as an observer company at the 21st Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Electronic Commerce Steering Group, Data Privacy Sub-Group in Hiroshima, Japan, on February 26-28 through the U.S. Department of Commerce official process. Nymity participates in International Chamber of Commerce(ICC), the world organization on business practices and policy initiatives that effect privacy and data protection. Such initiatives include the ICC Task Force on Internet and Telecoms Infrastructure and Services (ITIS) and ICC work on Online Behavioral Advertising. |
