Nymity augments its full-time research team by working with other non-Nymity experts in data protection and privacy, and has created a formal Research Contributor program. This program has many benefits for Research Contributors, as it does for Subscribers to PrivaWorks. Nymity’s Research Alliances Director, Gail Magnuson, works with Research Contributors and Subscribers to produce timely and relevant articles, papers, interviews, videos - as well as sample policies, procedures and contracts. As a Nymity Research Contributor, you will:
- Be named as the author of the material in PrivaWorks
- Have your materials distributed to all subscribers via a PrivaWorks Alert
- Be profiled on Nymity.com as a Research Contributor with your photo, bio & contact info
- Gain exposure among our large and growing list of Customers
- Gain exposure among the data protection and privacy community
- Receive statistical feedback from Customers as to the readership of your material
- Understand more clearly what our Customers are interested in regionally and globally
- Receive Nymity’s Trends Report for Contributors quarterly (see below)

PrivaWorks Subscribers can contact Nymity to request specific subjects and provide specific questions that need to be addressed.
Nymity Research Alliances Director will seek out experts on these subjects and have them create papers or interviews of detailed answers on the subjects.
If customers are looking for example policies, procedures, contracts or privacy management documents, Nymity will reach out to the PrivaWorks community and look for these documents.
All information requested, whether a sample document or a detailed paper, will result in a PrivaWorks Reference and be made available to all PrivaWorks subscribers. The new Reference will be alerted to subscribers through PrivaWorks Alerts. |
Nymity’s Research Contributors Trends Report
Part of the value of being a Research Contributor is that you will receive a quarterly report outlining the Trends in Privacy and Data Protection. Nymity’s Contributor Trends Report includes:
- Top issues statistically as observed in PrivaWorks
- Emerging issues and trends
- Top contributions from Contributors (statistically, as observed in PrivaWorks)
- Top contributions from Contributors by Region (statistically, as observed in PrivaWorks)
- Request(s) for new content as perhaps surveyed directly from Customers or indirectly from the Nymity staff
