Ann Cavoukian, Information & Privacy Commissioner of Ontario Canada has tirelessly championed Privacy by Design and Privacy by Redesign globally, working with her fellow commissioners, governments, academics, civil society and corporations to take PbD and PbRD from a concept, to an official set of principles, to an overarching methodology, to case studies, to more detailed methodologies, to scientific solutions and more, all in an effort to help build trust into the digital economy. Most recently Commissioner Cavoukian conducted a very well attended workshop on Privacy by ReDesign (PbRD) at the 33rd International Conference of Privacy and Data Protection Commissioners in Mexico City. All the stakeholders are listening.
