Nymity Attends OECD Meetings
Gail Magnuson, Nymity's Research Alliances Director, attends the WORKING PARTY ON INFORMATION SECURITY AND PRIVACY (WPISP) and COMMITTEE FOR INFORMATION, COMPUTER AND COMMUNICATIONS POLICY (ICCP), and reviews global information security and privacy initiatives at the OECD (Organization of Economic Co-Operation Development). Includes the OECD Privacy Guidelines anniversary report and celebration plans for the 30th anniversary of the guidelines continuing in Jerusalem.

Nymity to participate in Data Privacy Day 2010
On January 28, 2010, Canada, the United States, and the European Union will celebrate Data Privacy Day by promoting events and activities designed to: stimulate the development of technology tools to promote individual control over personally identifiable information; encourage compliance with privacy laws and regulations; create dialogues among parties interested in advancing data privacy and protection; and educate and increase privacy awareness among teens and young adults. Academics, nonprofits, small businesses, multi-national corporations, government officials and agencies, privacy professionals, educators and students will come together on Privacy Day to discuss current data protection and privacy issues in many different venues.
